SWATCH & REVIEW: Inglot Lip Paint in 68

Been meaning to swatch this gorgeous Lip Paint pot. Picked it up from INGLOT in colour 68.

Thoughts:
A wonderful consistency between a gel and cream. Highly pigmented but gel properties mean that opacity can be adjusted. Very moisturising but leaves a stain due to pigmentation which is good for work days where you don't want your pale lips showing after you eat lunch.

Only thing is that this requires a lip brush. Unless of course you don't mind using your fingers.

Swatched on my lips quite sheerly, it can be applied a lot more opaque than this.

Overall a really decent product. Give it a shot next time you find yourself at an INGLOT counter.

REVIEW: NYX Milk Jumbo Liner & Natural Look

Ive been waiting a long time to try this out! i just havent had the heart to open it cos i have so much other makeup :P

Pretty standard packaging, plastic lid, looks very clean and smooth all around... Im just worrying about how i will sharpen it, Ive never been good at sharpening thick pencils.

The texture is so so creamy, you can see ive blended out the one on the left. It glides on really smoothly and feels a tiny bit tacky, which is good as a colour intensifying eyeshadow base!

This is what it looks like on my eye,,,haha my eye looks funny/gross

Today i just did the usual liquid foundation, but opted for my MAC Studio Fix powder in NC40. The picture always makes it seem brighter, but in real life its pretty tanned (in the context of a natural toned chinese asian), which suits me cos im that tad bit darker than the rest of my kind haha.

The colours i used from my 140 "manly" pallete (HORRIBLE brand name choice LOL) that i bought from ebay for less than $20. Its one of those hong kong factory makeup outlets that also sell the essential same product to companies such as Coastal Scents in america... the quality is very good in my opinion, but ofcourse there are the few duds, such as the yellow range, which is one of the hardest colours to find which will actually pack a punch! Thats why i used so many yellows :P to try bring it out as much as possible.

My yellow and grey eyeshadow look

 lalala di daaaaaa.... :)

I put NYX Rea ontop of NYX Smokey Look megashine lipgloss. This way the application is alot smoother and doesnt sink into fine lines in the lips :)

I never take time to do my hair properly, especially for makeup blogging..so this is me tryin to make an effort by putting my hair down :P

Peekaboo! I remind myself of some kind of toxic bumblebee....

*****EDIT UPDATE*****

I did the look during the morning, and now its night! and still going strong, i decided to just have a bit of fun and pop some false lashes on :) They are the ebay lashes that I cut and curled myself to make them look more natural....you can see me do that in this post >>HERE<<

*****EDIT UPDATE****

Oh,, and also, today my sister had to go get her proof of age card from the liscencing centre, and i told her that the cameras there were really shit so i better help her bring out her features as much as possible...and heres what i did! (see below/next)

a very neutral but contrasting pallette to define the eyes, nude lipgloss (same combo as i did with Smokey Look gloss and Rea lipstick) and the use of my MAC studio fix powder in NC40, which does a very good job in a photography sense, as my sister usually has a really bad acne problem, and it seems to cover up really well in photos!

SWATCHES: NYX Round Lipsticks

My Haul from Cherryculture involved a whole lot of NYX round lippies for $1.75 each. I must say that it is gorgeously creamy and pigmented for its price, although the quality cant be compared to MAC cremesheens (my fave lipsticks), its still extremely good. At such a low price, a girl can afford to try a few out ;)

First row of lippies <3 a="" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixarnm4sud3LJwDb5Y_sxnQDcWuP9pU0ueF9PJrtnZoA4BTpQfq1CgIgnGgl5CmW_dk5-Y4AWtw6dBnKdUQV2NpSW1HWQRwPKBCVGw7hx0GciWd6Rj6T3occWUhcGxzlETFhVHA3VAJA0/s1600/IMG_7562sml.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}">

Second row of lippies

Circe in comparison with my Creme de nude MAC Creemesheen lipstick. Circe is creamy, but its more of a matte creamy, whereas cremesheen by MAC is a dewy creme, if that makes sense, and also its a few shades lighter, however both are gorgeous nudes on my NC40(Mac studio powder) skintone. See all the swatches next for more detail!

All the swatches! Click to see everything bigger! my favourites would have to be Circe and Orange soda. They both look absolutely HOT with a smokey eye! B52 is actualy the darkest colour that i would consider every day wearable (for me) because its not too brown, not too red, not too plum; its not too light, and not dark enough to be considered vampish. i cant describe it more than just the perfect middle shade of EVERYTHING! Oh and i do like the way strawberry milk looked in the pictures, but when applying it you may want to 'dab' it on, as if u swipe as usual...strawberry milk may apply unevenly. Lastly, apologies for the horiffic swatches for "Tea" and "B52" and others...as i was applying the lipstick and swiping it off in order to take swatches, it made my lip abit sore and "water" with saliva...thats why my lipstick application isnt perfect.

This is my full face shot with Circe :)

All in all, these are a musthave for any lady that wants every shade under the sun (if you like having something to match every occasion). They are creamy (matte finish), pigmented (not very lasting but you can always reapply :D ). I definitely use these more than my liptars just because i dont dare to bring my liptars around (as they tend to break in bags etc) and that is NOT good :P
